Every piece is a fine representation of good craftsmanship which reflects its cultural and historical background. The collection encompasses the history and culture of different regions in China. Raised in British Hong Kong and educated in the United States, the Chungs’ aesthetics is cosmopolitan. From the cabinets with architectonic flair, or panels with linear patterns, their taste reflects a strong art historical background from Bauhaus to Frank Lloyd Wright, and all the art movements of the 20 century.
Margaret worked in the field of antiques since 1988 and before that she earned an AM from the University of Chicago, and presently ABD. "I don't think I will finish my dissertation but I will never say never." |

| First time Randolph Street Market dealer, Dick Russell, will join us in June with a large and eclectic assortment of modern furniture as well as the industrial items. He will have over 300 pieces of costume and fine jewels as well as clothing spanning Victorian era to vintage. Approx 30 pieces of art and framed photos, approx 20 pieces of furniture spanning 3 centuries as well as garden elements and industrial items. He will also have approx 40 tubes of smalls. Dick's goal is to be the most interesting and visually stimulating vendor at the show. AND HE CANNOT WAIT! |

urban antiques market, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this May
with the can’t miss season opener and THE party of the summer, May 25
and 26. Doors open at 10 am, with early buy beginning at 8 am. Picture
around the clock entertainment, a beer garden complete with vintage
carnival games and concessions, Chicago fashionistas and design stars,
vintage beach bunnies, cooling stations and cabanas, fashion shows,
artisan food vendors, body paint artists, relaxation treatments and
more- the indoor/outdoor season opener is the place to be and be seen to
kick off the Chicago summer! And, at every summer indoor/outdoor
market, the first 10 people in the door at 10am at the main Randolph
entrance will get a chair massage and free admission to celebrate each

| Paris resident Sharyn Singery will travel to the Randolph Street Market and brings with her 5-30 meter rolls of vintage French burlap/hemp fabric. She will be custom cutting by the yard for ladies (and gents) that like to make their own creations, ie table runners, placemats, napkins. She has three suitcases full of monogramed table napkins and sheets and mattis sheets (people make slipcovers and table cloths with these they are also called "homespun") Sharyn cannot wait to get in front of our fabulous customers at our Memorial Day opener! |
